If you are a denture wearer, you probably know how uncomfortable they can be. Not only that, but they slip out, and it’s hard to eat the foods you enjoy. And they make you look older. Since you started wearing dentures, you may have noticed that your skin hangs down more, your lips fold in, and you’ve developed more wrinkles everywhere. But they can be better. We’ve found that FOY® Dentures, the Denture Fountain of Youth®, are more comfortable, more functional, and they can make you look years, even decades younger–like a nonsurgical facelift.

The Best Dentures We Can Make
FOY® Dentures are designed to be the best dentures possible. They use the best materials available. They take advantage of the latest techniques and technologies. And Dr. Hodges carefully fits them to you, taking time to ensure that they don’t just fit in your mouth, they fit your jaw, your muscles, and your entire facial structure, creating a kind of facelift effect.
The fit is key to many of the benefits of the Denture Fountain of Youth®, which include:
- Improved comfort
- Better biting and chewing
- More secure in your mouth
- More attractive
- Better smile shape
- Fewer wrinkles and folds–it’s like a facelift
- Reduced appearance of jowls and turkey neck–and a neck lift, too!
You may think that all dentures are the same, but FOY® Dentures are unlike traditional ones, and probably better than any you’ve ever worn. Compared to your old dentures, you will see a rejuvenating effect, similar to a facelift, but with no surgery and no recovery.
Before and After Denture Fountain of Youth®.
The Best Materials for Your Dentures
The material polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) has been used for dentures since World War II, partly because it can be used to make both the denture base and denture teeth. Although PMMA is good for the denture base, it’s not hard enough or attractive enough to make good denture teeth.
The appearance of your smile is part of the facelift effect: younger-looking teeth will make you look younger. That’s why FOY® Dentures use ceramic teeth that are individually designed and crafted to give you the best looking smile. They are made from a material that is essentially the same as porcelain veneers, which means that you can have a Hollywood smile with your dentures.
Although the denture base of the Denture Fountain of Youth® is still PMMA, it’s manufactured with the most advanced techniques so that it has a natural translucency and texture more like your natural gums than most other dentures.
Achieving the Best Fit
Great fit is the key to the facelift effect of the Denture Fountain of Youth®. Your natural teeth were essential to the development of your face. The skin, fat, connective tissue, bones, and muscles all developed around your teeth. If they don’t completely fill the place of your natural teeth, you will have excess skin and an uncomfortable bite.
When we fit your Denture Fountain of Youth®, we use neuromuscular dentistry to “read” the patterns in your muscles, which still retain traces of their development around your natural teeth, to determine the ideal size of your dentures. This ensures that they are as close as possible to your natural teeth, ensuring not only a comfortable bite, but the best replication of your youthful facial structure. You’ll see fewer wrinkles, less jowling, and minimized turkey neck–it’s like a facelift and neck lift combined.
FOY® Dentures Work Best with Dental Implants
As good as the fit of the Denture Fountain of Youth® is, they can’t completely replicate your natural teeth unless they are anchored like your natural teeth: in the jawbone. We can use dental implants to secure your dentures so that they are not only attractive and comfortable—they’re completely secure. This helps support your facial structure, improving the facelift effect as well as your ability to talk, eat, and laugh with them.
