The new technology offers caries detection aid to identify any possible interproximal or surface caries without radiation. It has a 30% higher battery life than past versions, allowing the dentist to examine 2 to 3 more patients without charging. The Trios 3 Shape 4 Digital Scanner uses fluorescent technology to identify possible surface caries without the need for any other scanning device. It also features a transillumination smart tip that aids with identifying interproximal caries that are normally undetectable to the eye.
