Dr. Kevin Winters

Dr. Kevin Winters is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Tulsa and the surrounding suburbs.

Dr. Winters earned his dental degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry after earning his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University where he also played football.  Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Winters served a genreal practice residency at Humana Hospital at the University of Louisville. Soon after he began practicing in Oklahoma, Dr. Winters was awarded the Young Dentist of the Year by the Oklahoma Dental Association.

Dr. Winters is one of the original clinical instructors at the world renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.  At LVI, he teaches dentists from all over the world how to perform advanced dental procedures, the same onew he performs daily in his practice.  He has been awarded Fellowship status at LVI, one of just a few dentists worldwide.  He is a member of the American and Oklahoma Dental Associations and the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics.

In addition to lecturing internationally, Dr. Winters takes many hours of continuing education courses each year, with an emphasis on high-quality cosmetic dentistry and general dentistry.  His most recent training in sleep apnea and short-term adult orthodontics allows him to offer lifesaving alternatives to CPAP for sleep apnea, and braces for as few as six months for many adults.

Dr. Winters has been helping people in the Tulsa viewing area for years as the "Dentist on Call" for both Channels 2 and 6.  Here he answers viewers questions and provides dental information for everyone.

Dr. Winters receives high acclaim in the industry, recently winning a national competition sponsored by Dental Economics magazine for the "Best Cosmetic Case", ( I will forward you an article with the link to the story and pictures) and being recognized as one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumer's Research Council of America as well as one of Oklahoma's Top Dentists by Oklahoma Magazine.

Dr. Winters is an active participant in the community, volunteering as a varsity football coach at Booker T Washington high school.  In his spare time he enjoys traveling, working out and sports.
